I believe that each one of us has all the answers. Leaders do not need to be taught, nor told. Yes, some frameworks and models can be helpful, esp in the early stages of development but when it comes to stepping into the self-authoring mind, I invite leaders to start an inner exploration and a peer exploration in order to find answers that come from within, instead of answers that come from outside, from somebody else.

I help people access their own inner wisdom, I help teams to step into deep dialogue and find in this way, together, what makes sense and what will give meaning to them and the people working with them.

WALKING LEADERSHIP RETREAT

Looking for a direction? For meaning ?

  • Are you in for a deeply transformative experience?

  • You sometimes feel without a compass. Without direction in a swaying world.

  • You are inhabited by a desire for deployment. A desire for meaning. A desire to help take care of the world.

  • You wonder how to find more inner clarity, to hear the call that comes from the core of your being.

If so, we suggest you join us for 3 days of walking in the Belgian Ardennes, either on the path to Compostella or at the monastery of Wavreumont in eastern Belgium, near the Fagnes.

The practice of walking will be at the heart of this quest for our deep desire.

We will walk sometimes in silence, sometimes reflecting in pairs and sharing our thoughts. We will also put other practices at the service of our inner exploration. Everyone will be able to find resources and inspirations that will help them in the pursuit of their journey.

History

It all started in The summer of 2015, when I wondered :

Instead of sitting inside with a group of leaders for 3 days, in a beautiful residential place, what if there was no conference room? What if there were no walls? In a split second, it became evident that I would go walking with a group of leaders. What was a nano-second inspiration, became a 3 day walk on the ancient pilgrim path to Santiago de Compostella (from Wépion to Dinant) with a group of 9 women.

Since then, the concept has matured and grown. The practice of walking with leaders has become part of the leadership development offering into the European Commission and has won an award for the most innovative learning in 2021. I’ve been asked by the European School of Management (EUSA) to develop the internal capacity to support these development initiatives through walking by creating a group of internal facilitators and building a community of supporters and walkers. In September 2021, we started a 9 month curriculum for new facilitators for walking team events.
